More Modules and More Sun

Yesterday on Saturday, we were able to play at the People module. We were able to see a show and learn more about ourselves. Then we were able to have some free time, and had a delicious meal back at the campsite for dinner. At dinner friends from France, and 4 IST members joined us. We had a very nice meal of fish and mashed potatoes.

Today, we played at the Quest module, where it challenged our physical abilities through obstacle courses, teamwork games, and old swedish pasttimes. We're having a bonfire tonight with the Norwegians, Swedish, and other nationalities. We are going to be sharing classic cultural desserts, on our part 'smores.

We've been doing a lot of trading and a few of us have even started the Friendship Award. Today the sun finally came out and it hasn't rained all day! The weather is beautiful, but kind of hot - we've been drinking a lot of water! We're looking forward to Camp-in-Camp and a possible trip to the beach!

We miss you all! We all love you!

First day of games!

Hello! It's still raining here :( but that hasn't stopped us from having fun!

Last night, we had the Opening Ceremony. There was so many people there and we got to see flags from all the different countries on the stage. We also got to see a bunch of people, and ABBA. We were really and it didnt rain the whole time during the ceremony.

This morning we played our first module game! It was the Earth module, and we built cities and learned how to filter water. We also shared with other countries natural disasters that have happened. About half of us got lost from the pack so we split up to play the module, but we were able to meet with Austrians, Californians, Thailand-ians and Luxembourg-ians(?). After that we were able to go out and explore the camp on our own.

Tonight we are going to split up and eat with different countries. Superman and the Captain America are going to be cooking for the Swedes, while Green Lantern and the Incredibles will be eating food from Brazilians.

Still miss you guys! and still really wet. Pictures soon!

Arrival and First Day at Camp

Hello everyone! Jen and Nicholle here at the Media Center in the main square of the camp. Our first day has been very exciting. Our plane ride was reallllllly long and mostly everyone, or watched Harry Potter! Once we landed we had our first injury, Jen got a severe nose bleed and Thuy-Linh got in trouble for getting more tissues while we were taxing into the Copenhagan Airport. Then we had 2-hour bus ride with NO AC, we rode with some scouts from France and Hong Kong. We walked a mile into our campsite, and started setting up, luckily our tents were already set up so we just had to rearrange them. We ate dinner at around 9, with the sun still up, we had hamburgers and stir-fry and rice. We met a bunch of people from all these different countries and some of us have already started trading neckerchiefs and patches. We had to sleep at 11 though, even though it was only 5pm Eastern Time. Some people had trouble last night just cause of the time changes.

This morning most of us woke up at 5 or 6 just because we couldnt sleep, and we also woke up to rain(It's still raining as we type this) and the sun comes out at 4:30. We had delicious omlettes for breakfast and also some oatmeal. Today we're going to start building our Dutch Oven, and pioneering some other things. We have opening ceremony tonight! It's gonna be crazy!!

Hope you all dont worry about us too much! Love and miss you guys! More updates coming soon!
